Galgorm Castle Fairy Trail Upgrade

Brilliant Trails upgraded the Galgorm Castle Fairy Trail with new exciting elements, just in time for Fairy Festival weekend. New pathways, new clues, a mud kitchen and a fairy school are all ready for our visitors to enjoy. Bringing the fairy magic back into Galgorm!

Stormont – Mo Mowlam Park

Following the upgrade to Stormont trails, Brilliant Trails took part in the revamp of Mo Mowlam play park at Stormont Estate. To make this park unique, we created bespoke features such as the knights and sensory totem, along with the eye-catching design of the park entrance.

Slieve Gullion Sensory Trail

Brilliant Trails have recently installed a sensory trail around Slieve Gullion forest. This trail has different elements throughout for each of the senses. It is a trail designed for the whole family to take part in and enjoy together.

Stormont Upgrade

The Brilliant Trails team have just completed an upgrade to the Stormont trails along with their outdoor signage. Just in time for Summer! This gives the trail a new lease of life, with new elements, activities and clues.

Bunratty Fairy Trail

The fairies have landed at their latest destination in Bunratty Castle, County Clare. Our latest fairy trial installation took place just before Easter, bringing the magic to the grounds of Bunratty Castle. This trail includes exciting fairy elements alongside a few woodland friends.

Loch Lomond Upgrade

Due to the brilliant success of the Loch Lomond faerie trail, we have included some new exciting upgrades, expanding the trail by a further twenty minutes. With the installation of brand new paths, new fairy members, clues and questions, this gives the faerie trail here a new lease of life. Bringing the magic back into Loch Lomond!

Paxton Spring Trail

For Spring 2019, Paxton House decided to create an Easter inspired trail for all families to enjoy. Bringing some hopping fun into the grounds with their new trail, it has been a great success so far!

Wheelworks App

Over the past few months, youth groups from the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council came together to design, develop and create an app for their local area. This app was designed to allow people to participate in trails around their towns while learning both new and historical facts.

Todds Leap Trails

Opening on Thursday 18th April 2019 is the new woodland trail around Todds Leap. With the addition of friendly wooden sculptures, fairy elements and interactive stations, this trail will add to the long list of activities available at this wonderful site. We're bringing the woods to life!

Antrim Wonderland Wood

Recently Brilliant Trails have installed a permanent Wonderland trail into Antrim Castle Gardens for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. The trail brings magic to the Castle Gardens and leaves a little sparkle around the grounds. Why not bring your family and friends down and join in the fairytale fun.

Brechin Castle

The fairies are preparing to land at Brechin Castle, Scotland! Brilliant Trails are currently in the process of creating and installing a bespoke fairy trail within the beautiful Brechin Castle grounds. Bringing the magic to these grounds will give families an opportunity to visit the castle for a fun-filled day out. Keep an eye out for fairy updates!

Enchanted Winter Garden

In December, we worked together with Antrim and Newtownabbey council to bring Antrim Castle Gardens to life for their 'Enchanted Winter Garden' event. We created the map for the visitors to help them navigate around the grounds and we also installed elements of our fairy trail to help spread some fairy magic!

Trail Blazer

Working alongside wheelworks, we have begun creating promotional material to support the launch of the 'Trail Blazer' product. The aim of Trail Blazer is to create a tourist trail and app for the community using the very latest digital technology.

Festive Fairy Trails

This year to celebrate Christmas, we have launched the Festive Fairy Trails at Galgorm Castle, Lusty Beg Island and Loch Lomond Estate. Helping the fairies bring the Christmas magic to all who visit!

Farm Innovation Show 2018

The Brilliant Trails team travelled to Birmingham NEC on the 7th & 8th of November for the Farm Innovation Show. It was an opportunity to engage with visitors, giving them a better insight into the services and products we provide. It also gave us the chance to find out more about other unique companies who also attended. 

Todds Leap Experience

On November 1st, the Brilliant Trails team travelled to Todds Leap for a day experience, taking part in a few of the activities such as the 500m zip line, drop zone and off-road driving. It was a brilliant way to experience first hand the products and operations this customer had to offer, giving us a better understanding of the company itself. It was a great adrenaline fuelled day enjoyed by all!

Cannock Chase Mobile App

Recently we designed and created the Cannock Chase app. This was a historical app, designed to take the visitor around the Stoke-on-Trent city, whilst bringing to their attention key areas where important events took place.

Schomberg Society

Our latest project was for the Schomberg Society, creating an information map for the area of Kilkeel. This map is to guide visitors around the area whilst providing them with historical facts, information on events and places to visit. 

Spooky Hallow Trail

In October this year, we ran the 'Galgorm Castle Spooky Hallow Trail' as our Halloween event. This event ran over two nights and as darkness fell, visitors found their way around the trail by torchlight. It was a fun-filled event for all the family. There were Halloween actors, Halloween props, hot drinks, music, activities, photos, treats and a sizzling BBQ,  It was a spooktacular night enjoyed by all.

Lusty Beg Fairy Trail

Lusty Beg is the latest addition to our trails! We installed our magical fairy trail around the island, adding to the beautiful surroundings. To find out more about this trail visit our Latest News page.

Malahide Castle Fairy Trail

Malahide Castle is home to the beautiful Botanic Gardens and West Lawn, where we installed the latest fairy trail. This magical trail allows the whole family to explore the enchanting woodland. This is the perfect place for a fun-filled day out together!

Fairhill Family Trail

In June this year, we installed the Fairhill Family Trail. This trail is an inspired woodland trail around the Fairhill Shopping Centre, Ballymena. A free activity which runs throughout the year, it is perfect for both kids and kids at heart! Visit our Latest News page to find out more.

Galloway Fairy Trail

Queenshill Estate, Dumfries and Galloway near Castle Douglas is a delightful mixture of glorious parkland, pretty woodland and undulating hills. We added to the beautiful surroundings on site by installing our award-winning fairy trail as well as signage for a history and environmental trail. Enhancing the landscape for families to explore and learn!

Paxton House Trails

Paxton House is a family-friendly location, in Scotland. We added a woodland and fairy trail into Paxton House grounds to give families that visit a magical experience, whether that be searching for fairies or learning about the surroundings. With accommodation on site, this is the perfect family entertainment for everyone to participate in and mainly enjoy!

Belfast Maritime Festival

The Belfast Titanic Maritime Festival held a weekend full of maritime-themed family fun and food, where we installed an interactive trail map, locating all the attractions along the way. The trail included clues to answer, the tall ships to see and sea-side themed actors along the way to interact with.

Craggaunowen History Trail

We added to Craggaunowens Living Past Experience, by including a historic trail to tell the story of each ancient homestead and artefacts which are over 1,000 years old. Located in Co. Clare, Ireland, this is a must-see attraction!

Derrymore House Eco Trail

We installed and designed an interactive environment trail for a Nation Trusts property, Derrymore House, located in Newry. The trail we provided will bring in more tourism to the area.

Loch Lomond Faerie Trail

We developed an interactive sensory trail for the Loch Lomond Estate, in the Scottish village of Luss to promote more tourism in the town and encourage visitors to explore more. This magical fairy trail has brightened up the faces of many and has provided families with the opportunity to get outside!

Wonderland Wood Treasure Trail

We installed and designed a woodland trail for Antrim and Newtownabbey Boroughs weekend event in Antrim Town. A two-day event including a fun fair, artisan market, arts & crafts, street performers, magicians, buskers! As well as real-life characters around the trail!

Stormont Estate Trails

We are ridiculously proud to have started work on a 3 phase project around the beautiful grounds at Stormont Estate. The project will include History, Eco and Woodland Trails. These will encourage locals and visitors alike to learn more about the environment, wildlife and the history of Stormont Estate.

Galgorm Castle Fairy Trail

We are excited to present our original Fairy Trail, that is located in the Galgorm Castle grounds. This trail opened in 2017 and is open 365 days a year. The aim is to get all the family out for a fun-filled day together, whether you are 2 or 92!

Galgorm Eco Trail

A woodland trail based within the scenic grounds of the Galgorm Castle Estate. The trail booklet guides you around the estate with pictures of plants and animals to look out for. These include plants like bluebells and buttercup flowers, as well as animals like the violet ground beetle and bluebottle flies. The treasure hunts offer families the ability solve clues as well as participate in some great activities along the way.

Balmoral Show Schools Trail

This bespoke trail helps children gain a better understanding of food and agriculture in Northern Ireland as well as having an exciting day out. Brilliant Trails also handles all booking and guide services for this event each year.

Hydebank College Family Trail

The Hydebank College project focused on regenerating an old rundown area outside the College. Brilliant Trails introduced a sensory and educational trail around the area to attract community tourism for a positive and informative experience.
